A little about me
Hi there :) My name is Jasleen and I’m a 20-year-old multidisciplinary artist who stepped away from university to carve out my creative path. I realised the traditional route wasn’t quite for me, but I still wanted the freedom to explore and create in my own way.
I’m always trying out new ideas, not always with a plan, just for the purpose of creating. It’s all about experimenting, and seeing what happens.
One project I’ve been consistently working on is my book, ‘Ek Se Kah, Ek Se Chiri. ’ It is a retelling of an old folk story written in Punjabi featuring my illustrations and is designed to help educate and, for some, hopefully, bring back some lost memories.
The way I learn is through teaching and so this book is helping me get back in touch with my culture and language while helping you learn along with me.
